Attended Hartselle High School (AL) … rated by Perfect Game as the No. 11 player and No. 3 right-handed pitcher in Alabama … helped lead Hartselle to the 2022 6A State Championship, earning the win on the mound in game two of the championship series … named 2022 ASWA 6A Player and Pitcher of the Year … three-time First Team All-State selection … earned 2022 MaxPreps Second Team All-America honors … went 10-0 with a 0.96 ERA and 109 strikeouts to go along with only 19 walks in 80 innings as a senior … struck out 128 batters in 78.0 innings as a junior … went 11-2 with a 0.80 ERA and 179 strikeouts in 144.0 innings over six summers on the Perfect Game circuit … also hit .335 in 176 at-bats during summer ball.
